Summer of Connection
WELCOME to Issue #293 of The Seedhead from Alex and Hannah at Dandelion Resourcing
- a weekly confidence booster to help you step into naturally supernatural discipleship and mission!
Turning ordinary hangouts into spiritual on-ramps
The Big Idea: Move from praying for your neighbors to partying with them by scheduling one low-key summer gathering that builds community and creates space to see where the Holy Spirit is highlighting a person of peace.
"A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
We often mistake mission for a series of complex tasks or formal presentations. The reality is that our world is starving for authentic relationships and meaningful community, not a polished program. When we lean into the simple act of gathering, we create a natural environment where the life of Jesus in us becomes visible to those around us.
Our neighborhoods, communities, and workplaces are full of people waiting for an invitation to belong. We do not need a massive budget or a perfectly manicured home to be effective hosts for the Kingdom. Most of the time, profound spiritual breakthroughs happen over a simple drink and making space to gather.
The goal is not to throw the perfect event, but to be intentional with our time and our space. By getting a date on the calendar, we stop waiting for a "perfect moment" and start creating opportunities for the Spirit to highlight those who are spiritually open. In this video, you’ll learn to better see that your summer schedule is actually your primary mission field.

Next Steps
Identify your people: Look at the three people you have been praying for and ask the Lord what kind of gathering would best serve them and their schedules.
Choose your format: Pick a low-pressure option like an ice cream social, a fire pit night, or a bring-a-chair front lawn hang that requires minimal setup.
Set the date: Open your calendar right now and pick a Friday or Saturday in the next month to host, then invite one other person to partner with you.
The most important thing is to get started and have fun! The Spirit loves to move through the joy of people gathered together.
With love,
Alex + Hannah
